Changemaker Plus
$50/month, or $550/year (1 month free)
Good for: People and organizations who want to help sustain and shape The Space

- Supporter gatherings twice a year
- Recognition on our website and in the space
- Chances to mentor, co-host and shape programming
- Your own custom The Space & Company mug

Membership is about contribution as much as access. Members facilitate workshops, mentor, share funding leads and support each other’s projects. Everyone has something to offer.
Joining as an organization?
Organizations can join under any membership and receive member pricing on room bookings. We encourage team members who use the space to join too. Talk to us about your team
Questions, answered
Do I have to be a paid member to come to The Space?
No. Our doors stay open to people working in and for the community. Paid members get priority access, early information and benefits that help sustain the space.
What is the difference between Community Access and a paid membership?
Community Access keeps you informed and lets you drop in when space allows. Paid members get early access to events and funding news, priority booking, member gatherings and a shared resource database.
What is mug parking?
Exactly what it sounds like. Leave your favourite mug at The Space. It is a small sign that this is your home base.
Can my organization join instead of me?
Yes. Organizations can join under any membership and receive member pricing on bookings.
What if I cannot afford a membership right now?
We never want cost to be a barrier to belonging. If money is tight but you want to take part, reach out and we will find a way together.
Can I pay yearly?
Yes. Paying yearly gives you 1 month free: $220 for Changemaker, $550 for Changemaker Plus.
Can I cancel or switch?
Yes, with 30 days’ notice so we can update our records. Yearly members need to give 60 days’ notice. Monthly payments are not refunded. If something unexpected comes up, please contact us.
Is there an orientation?
Yes. New members book a short walk-through with someone from The Space, and we will share a quick orientation handout.
